20 electric cars you'll see on the road by 2025

While electric vehicles still represent a very small percentage of global car sales,automotive companies have made significant investments in them.As governments move to increase emissions standards,even traditional manufacturers anticipate electric vehicles playing a big role in the near future.

1) Porsche Mission E : 

Porsche Mission E will hit the market by the end of 2019 and may start around $75000.
The car will pack two engines ,600 horsepower ,and the ability to charge by sitting above a charging plate.

2) Volkswagen I.D. Buzz :
Volkswagen is revamping it's iconic minibus with the I.D. Buzz,which will hit dealerships in 2022.It will feature seats that can move and rotate on tracks in the floor ,allowing owners to set up the interior for a variety of purposes.

3) Volkswagen I.D :
Before the microbus makes its return,Volkswagen will release its I.D Crossover SUV,which the company plans to release in 2020.This car will be able to drive autonomously after being activated through voice control.

4) Jaguar I-Pace :

Jaguar will release its fully -electric vehicle,I-Pace in 2018.The car will pack 400 horsepower ,516 pound feet of torque ,and the ability to go from 0-60 mph in about four seconds.

5) Nissan leaf :

Nissan will release the 2018 model of its leaf early in the year .This car will have features ,like enhanced autopilot and braking systems ,that were designed to make the driving experience more painless.

6) Aston Martin RapidE :

Aston Martin will make only 155 RapidE Sedans ,which will be sold in 2019.The luxury car will cost $255,000 .

7) Tesla Model Y :

While Tesla hasn't announced a definite release date for it's upcoming model Y SUV,there was a statement that it will be sold by the end of 2020.

8) Audi e-tron quattro :

Audi plans to release its e-tron quattro SUV in 2018.Audi has claimed the car will have a maximum speed of 131 mph and be able to go more than 300 miles on a single charge ,though the EPA estimates its range will be closer to 280 miles.

9) Mercedez-Benz EQ :

Mercedez-Benz plans to sell electric versions of all of its models by 2022 and has said a production version of its concept EQ SUV will be available by the end of the decade.The car's interior seems like it may take advantage of Mercedez-Benz'a new MBUX interface that features advanced voice control and 3-D touchscreens.

10) Tesla Roadster :

Tesla revealed it's new Roadster in November 2017 .The company said the car will be available in 2020.The company had told that the car will have incredible specs ,including a top speed of 250 mph and the ability to go from 0-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
